Issue:

Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with certain Continental tires, with specific date codes and mold numbers.Safety Risk:
A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.Corrective Actions:
Volkswagen will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the tires and replace the ones that have the DOT number and production mold number combinations identified by Continental.
