Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the brake caliper may leak brake fluid into the electric parking brake over time. As a result, air could enter the hydraulic brake system. If this happens, the driver may experience a change in brake pedal feel and travel. This can cause reduced brake performance. rnNote: This recall only affects certain vehicles equipped with an electric parking brake. rnrnSafety Risk: rnReduced brake performance could cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnMercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.
