Issue: rnOn certain school buses, the tie rod clamp may not have been properly tightened. As a result, the tie rod end could loosen and separate. If this happens, there could be a loss of steering control. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA loss of steering control could create the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnDaimler Trucks North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your school bus to a DTNA authorized service facility to replace the tie rod clamp nuts and bolts.
