Issue: rnOn certain hybrid vehicles, a software error with the hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) may cause the powertrain to shut down. If this happens, both the engine and electric motor can turn off, and cause a loss of power to the wheels. rn rnSafety Risk: rnA loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash.rn rnCorrective Actions: rnNissan will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to reprogram the HPCM.
