Issue: rnOn certain vehicles equipped with adaptive cruise control (ACC), there could be a problem with the front radar module. As a result, your vehicle may follow another too closely when using adaptive cruise control. Also, the pre-collision assist (PCA) system might not detect a possible crash and the application of automatic emergency braking (AEB) may be delayed. rnrnSafety Risk: rnFollowing too closely behind another vehicle could increase the risk of a crash. An automatic emergency braking (AEB) system that doesn't work properly may not reduce the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnFord will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to adjust the angle of the cruise control radar module.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2021770.
