Issue: rnOn certain motorcycles equipped with a manual transmission, incorrect programming in the engine control unit (ECU) may cause the engine to stall. This could happen when the clutch lever is pulled in, with the transmission in 2nd gear or higher, and a closed throttle. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA sudden engine stall could increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnHonda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to update the engine control unit (ECU) software.
