Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the recovery eye (tow hook) may not screw into the front or rear bumper properly. As a result, the recovery eye could come loose when a vehicle is being loaded or transported. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA towing eye that comes loose during loading or transport could create an increased risk of crash and/or injury. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnMercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect, and if necessary, repair the recovery points in the front and rear bumpers.
