Issue: rnOn certain golf cars and personal transportation vehicles, the steering knuckles and/or A-arms could break during or after an impact (like hitting a curb). This could cause a loss of steering control. rnNote: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall 2022-245. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall also require this repair. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA loss of steering control can increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnTextron will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the A-arms and, if necessary, install a reinforcement bracket to strengthen the steering knuckles.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2022539.
