Issue: rnOn a small number of vehicles, the cowl area below the windshield may not be sealed correctly. As a result, water could leak onto the driver's side floor and damage the main body harness. If this happens, the wiring could short circuit and overheat, and various electrical systems may not work properly. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA short circuit can create the risk of a fire. Electrical systems that don't work properly could increase the risk of injury and/or a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnNissan will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to reseal the windshield in the driver side cowl area. The dealer will also inspect the main body wiring harness connector for signs of moisture or corrosion, and replace the main body harness and engine room wiring harness as necessary.
