Issue: rnOn certain aerial devices, a hydraulic hose may have been incorrectly installed between the cylinder port and load-holding valve instead of metal tubing. If the hose gets damaged, the platform or load could move suddenly. rnrnSafety Risk: rnUncontrolled movement of the platform or load could increase the risk of injury to the operator and people nearby. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnAltec Industries will notify owners by mail and advise you to contact Altec Service to inspect if a hydraulic hose is installed, and replace it with metal tubing as required.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2023389.
