Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the automatic locking retractor (ALR) feature on the passenger-front seat belt may not work properly. As a result, the seat belt could remain locked after use. If this happens, a passenger may not be able to use the seat belt. rnrnSafety Risk: rnNot wearing a seat belt can increase the risk of injury in a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnHyundai will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the passenger-front seat belt, and replace it if necessary. Hyundai advises not to use the passenger-front seat if you're unable to extend the seat belt.
