Issue:rnOn certain motorhomes, the transmission parking pawl may not fully engage when you shift to park. If this happens, and the parking brake isn't used, the vehicle could roll away. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA parked vehicle that moves suddenly could create the risk of an injury or a crash.rnrnCorrective Actions: rnForest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a RAM dealership to update the powertrain control module (PCM) calibration software. The dealer will also inspect and, if necessary, replace the transmission or parts inside the transmission. To reduce the safety risk, FCA Canada recommends that you should always use the parking brake when you park.
