Issue: rnOn a small number of vehicles, the wrong power distribution center (PDC) may have been installed during production. As a result, the trailer lights may not work. rnNote: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with the trailer tow option.rnrnSafety Risk: rnTrailer lights that don't work could make the trailer less visible and cause following drivers not to recognize that the trailer is braking or intends to turn or change lanes. These issues could increase the risk of a crash.rnrnCorrective Actions: rnFCA Canada will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the PDC.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2024324.
