Both registers carry the same date for this defect.
These are the dates each register records against its own notice. They are separate administrative acts in two countries, recorded by two authorities under two sets of rules, and this page does not claim that one caused the other or that owners in either country were contacted on those days. What it shows is that the same manufacturer campaign reached the two registers on different dates.
Read the American notice 24V440, including every earlier version of its wording this site holds. The Canadian register explains why the manufacturer code is published there and what that makes possible. Canada and America sets every matched pair side by side.

Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the cruise control radar module may not have been aligned correctly during production. As a result, the adaptive cruise control may falsely detect an obstacle and stop or slow down the vehicle suddenly. Additionally, other driver assistance systems may not work properly, including the pre-collision assist, forward collision warning and/or automatic emergency braking. rnNote: This recall only affects two-wheel drive vehicles equipped with adaptive cruise control. rn rnSafety Risk: rnA vehicle that brakes or stops suddenly when there is no risk of a collision could increase the risk of a crash. Vehicle safety systems that don't work correctly could increase the risk of a crash. rn rnCorrective Actions: rnFord will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to realign the cruise control module radar.
