Both registers carry the same date for this defect.
These are the dates each register records against its own notice. They are separate administrative acts in two countries, recorded by two authorities under two sets of rules, and this page does not claim that one caused the other or that owners in either country were contacted on those days. What it shows is that the same manufacturer campaign reached the two registers on different dates.
Read the American notice 24V934, including every earlier version of its wording this site holds. The Canadian register explains why the manufacturer code is published there and what that makes possible. Canada and America sets every matched pair side by side.

Issue: rnOn a small number of trailer-mounted generators, the wiring connecting the fuse holders may not have been installed properly. As a result, the wiring could become damaged by contact with the starter motor housing or terminal stud. This could cause a short circuit or electrical arcing (sparks). rnrnSafety Risk: rnA short circuit could create a risk of a fire. Exposed wiring could create a risk of shock or electrocution.rnrnCorrective Actions: rnTo reduce the safety risk, Cummins advises not to use your generator until the recall repairs have been completed. Cummins will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer-mounted generator to a Cummins authorized service center to inspect and secure the wiring. If the wiring is damaged, it will be repaired or replaced, as necessary.
