Transport Canada carries this recall as 2025040, dated 30 January 2025. The American register carries the same defect as campaign 25V046, dated 12 March 2025. They are the same defect because the manufacturer filed both under one internal campaign code, F1017.

The two registers are 41 days apart: the Canadian entry is dated first, the American one second.
These are the dates each register records against its own notice. They are separate administrative acts in two countries, recorded by two authorities under two sets of rules, and this page does not claim that one caused the other or that owners in either country were contacted on those days. What it shows is that the same manufacturer campaign reached the two registers on different dates.
Read the American notice 25V046, including every earlier version of its wording this site holds. The Canadian register explains why the manufacturer code is published there and what that makes possible. Canada and America sets every matched pair side by side.

If this happens, there could be a loss of power to the wheels. Additionally, certain driver assist functions may not work. rnNote: This recall only affects certain eCascadia and eM2 models. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnDaimler Truck North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a DTNA authorized service facility to inspect and, if necessary, reinforce or replace the electric vehicle power distribution module.
