Issue: rnOn certain child car seats, the product label on the seat references a different minimum height for the rear-facing mode than what is listed in the owner's manual. Canadian regulations require the manufacture to provide a recommended height range for the child seat. rnrnSafety Risk: rnThis small error does not affect safety. rnrnCorrective Action: rnThis is not a recall. Owners can continue to use their seat. Evenflo has made changes to correct the labels.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2025236.
