Problem:
On certain child car seats, the tether strap may be missing. As a result, you may not be able to secure the seat properly in a vehicle.

Safety Risk:
A child seat that isn't properly secured could increase the risk of injury in a crash.

Corrective Actions:
Evenflo will notify registered owners in writing and provide you with a tether strap.

You should contact Evenflo to obtain a free tether strap and instructions for how to install it.

If you have not yet registered your seat, have moved, or have any questions about this recall, you can contact Evenflo by phone at: 1-937-773-3971 or 1-800-265-0749, or online at: https://registration.evenflo.com/evenflo/ca/carseats.

Reading this against the source

This page is what Transport Canada published in the Vehicle Recalls Database, kept as it was read. The authority publishes only its current wording; if a notice is rewritten, the earlier version disappears there and is kept here. The whole register is at /canada, and how the reading is done is set out in the method.

What the words on this notice mean — the system it is filed under, and what the filing type says about who found the fault.

This register keeps an index of its own for every maker and every year it holds: Canadian recalls on a Evenflo: 50 in the register, and 405 Canadian vehicle recalls filed in 2026.
