Issue: rnOn certain motorcycles, the ground connection between the battery and the frame may not have been connected properly. As a result, the engine could stall while driving. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnTo reduce the safety risk, Kawasaki advises not to drive your motorcycle until the recall repairs have been completed. Kawasaki will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to install a new wiring harness to connect the negative battery terminal to the engine and frame.
