Issue: rnOn certain electric motorcycles, the anchor(s) for the battery terminal(s) may not have been installed during production. As a result, the terminal(s) could move and cause the batteries to disconnect. If this happens, there could be a loss of power to the rear wheel. rn rnSafety Risk: rnA sudden loss of power to the wheel could increase the risk of a crash. rn rnCorrective Actions: rnTo reduce the safety risk, Kawasaki advises not to ride your motorcycle until the recall repairs are completed. Kawasaki will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to inspect the battery terminal(s). If an anchor is missing, the battery will be replaced.
