Issue: rnOn certain Ranger XP Kinetic side-by-sides, a part inside the high-voltage charging system could crack. As a result, water could enter the high-voltage charging system harness and cause a short circuit. rn rnSafety Risk: rnA short circuit can create the risk of a fire. rn rnCorrective Actions: rnTo reduce the safety risk, Polaris will provide you with precautions to take until the recall repairs are completed. Polaris will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your side-by-side to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the charging harness. The dealer will also install a cover to help prevent water from entering the charging system.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2025124.
