Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the front passenger seat occupant classification system (OCS) may not work properly due to interference between seat components. As a result, the airbag system can turn off the passenger-front airbag even when a passenger is seated.rnrnSafety Risk: rnAn airbag system that does not work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnTo reduce the safety risk, Lexus recommends that you shouldn't transport a passenger in the front passenger seat until the recall repairs have been completed. Lexus will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the front passenger seat frame assembly.
