Issue:rnOn certain trucks, the recall repairs completed by a Ford dealer during recall 24S37 (Transport Canada recall no. 2024-346) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second repair is required.rnrnOn certain trucks, a problem with the output shaft speed sensor could cause the transmission to downshift suddenly to first gear. If this happens, there could be a loss of control. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA loss of control could create the risk of a crash. rn rnCorrective Actions: rnFord will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to update the powertrain control module software.
