These are the dates each register records against its own notice. They are separate administrative acts in two countries, recorded by two authorities under two sets of rules, and this page does not claim that one caused the other or that owners in either country were contacted on those days. What it shows is that the same manufacturer campaign reached the two registers on different dates.
Read the American notice 26V459, including every earlier version of its wording this site holds. The Canadian register explains why the manufacturer code is published there and what that makes possible. Canada and America sets every matched pair side by side.

Issue: rnOn certain trucks, the cable connection at the battery auxiliary post could contact the hold-down bracket. If this happens, there could be a short circuit. rnNote: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2025-428. Trucks that were repaired under that recall also require this repair.rn rnSafety Risk: rnA short circuit could increase the risk of a fire, even while the truck is parked and turned off.rn rnCorrective Actions: rnTo reduce the safety risk, International Motors recommends that you should park your truck outside and away from other vehicles or buildings until the recall repairs are completed. International Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to insulate the battery hold down bracket and install spacers between the batteries.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2026348.
