大型トラックの原動機において、ＥＧＲ（排気ガス再循環装置）を制御するための吸気絞り弁のバタフライシャフトのシール機能が不適切であるため、吸入空気中の結露水が吸気絞り弁内部に浸入するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、エンジン警告灯が点灯するとともに、吸気絞り弁の作動不良が発生する可能性があり、ＥＧＲ制御による排出ガス浄化作用に支障をきたすおそれがある。また、吸気絞り弁内部に浸入した結露水が吸気絞り弁の配線内を伝わり、エンジンコントロールユニット内部に浸入するため、エンジンの不調やＤＰＦの手動再生ができなくなるなどエンジンコントロールユニットによる各種制御ができなくなり、最悪の場合、走行中にエンジンストールし、再始動できなくなるおそれがある。What is to be done about it
全車両、当該吸気絞り弁を対策品に交換する。また、エンジンハーネスを点検し結露水の浸入が認められた場合は、エンジンハーネスを交換するとともに、エンジンコントロールユニット及び各種センサーを点検し、結露水の浸入が認められた場合は、結露水が浸入した部品全てを新品に交換する。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
