１２段機械式自動変速機を搭載した大型トラックにおいて、エアコンプレッサから供給される圧縮空気中に含まれる油分が酸化劣化して黒色粘着物が生成されるため、エアドライヤのエアプレッシャーガバナ摺動部やシフトシリンダのメインバルブ摺動部が黒色粘着物により固着する場合がある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、シフトシリンダからのエア漏れや作動不良等が生じ、最悪の場合、変速が出来なくなり走行不能になるおそれがある。What is to be done about it
全車両、オイルセパレータ、エアドライヤにガラスフィルタを追加するとともに、マルチプロテクションバルブを新品に交換し、エアプレッシャーガバナとトランスミッションコントロール用エア配管を清掃するとともに、オイルセパレータのフィルタメンテナンスについて記載したメンテナンスノート及び取扱説明書の追補版を配布する。 また、レジューシングバルブ、サプライバルブ、シフトシリンダのエア供給口を点検し、油分による汚れが認められた場合は新品に交換する。 なお、改造等によりオイルセパレータが追加出来ない車両については、エアコンプレッサを油分排出量の少ないものに交換するとともに、エアダクトを適応品に交換し、ショートキャブ車についてはパワーステアリングオイルポンプも適応品に交換する。 更に、ダイレクトメールにて、エアドライヤの定期交換部品（乾燥剤、フィルタ、ゴム・パッキン類）の確実な交換実施について注意喚起を行う。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
