運転席ドア部のパワーウィンドウスイッチにおいて、スイッチ潤滑用グリースの塗布方法が不適切なため、グリース量が不足しているものがある。そのため、端子摺動部から出る摩耗粉と水分等の浸入により短絡回路が形成され、端子が発熱して当該スイッチおよび周辺の樹脂部品が焼損し、最悪の場合、火災に至るおそれがある。What is to be done about it
全車両、当該スイッチの端子間抵抗の導通を点検し、異常のみられるものは対策品と交換し、正常なものについては接点部に耐熱性グリースを適量塗布する。 また、上記の点検により、耐熱性グリースを塗布したものについて、その後、作動不良が発生した場合は、パワーウィンドウスイッチを交換する。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
