大型トラック・バスのエンジンにおいて、使用者ならびに自動車整備事業者に対して、燃料噴射装置を定期的に洗浄するよう情報提供していなかったため、洗浄が行われないと、燃料の温度変化等で燃料中に化合物が生成され、燃料噴射装置内部のバルブが固着することがある。そのため、エンジンの燃料噴射が適正に行われず、エンジンの始動不良や白煙の発生、エンジン制御システム異常の警告灯点灯等が発生し、最悪の場合、排気管に溜まった燃料が発火して、火災に至るおそれがある。What is to be done about it
