What the ministry says is wrong
（１）後輪のブレーキキャリパーにおいて、駐車ブレーキ駆動用シャフトのブーツのシール性能が不足しているため、シャフト部に水が浸入し、シャフトに錆が発生することがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、シャフトの錆がキャリパー内部まで進行しシャフトの回転が阻害され、駐車ブレーキの制動力が低下し、最悪の場合、駐車中の車両が動き出すおそれがある。 （２）後輪のブレーキキャリパーにおいて、製造工程での検査不良により検査規格を外れる部品が流出したため、ブレーキパッドとブレーキディスクとの隙間を自動調整する機構が作動しなくなるものがある。そのため、ブレーキパッドの摩耗が進行しても、ブレーキパッドとブレーキディスクの隙間が自動調整されず、駐車ブレーキの制動力が低下し、最悪の場合、駐車中の車両が動き出すおそれがある。What is to be done about it
（１）全車両、確認のうえ、後輪のブレーキキャリパーが対策前品の場合は、シャフトを点検し、シャフトが固着またはキャリパー内部までシャフトの錆が進行している場合はブレーキキャリパーを対策品と交換し、キャリパー内部まで錆が進行していない場合は錆を除去し、対策品ブーツキットと交換する。 （２）全車両、確認のうえ、後輪のブレーキキャリパーが対策前品の場合は、ブレーキキャリパー内部のピストンを良品に交換する。（１）の改善措置においてブレーキキャリパーを対策品に交換した場合、ピストンも同時に良品に交換される。 なお、交換用部品の準備に時間を要するため、使用者に不具合内容を通知し注意喚起のうえ、部品準備が整い次第、年式の古い車両から順次交換する。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
