What the ministry says is wrong

（１）エンジンの吸気シャッタ・バルブにおいて、制御プログラムが不適切なため、バルブ周辺に付着する煤などにより、バルブ開度が正しく制御されなくなり、エンジン警告灯が点灯した際、フェールセーフが十分に機能せず、バルブが全開しないことがある。そのため、煤などの付着により、バルブが全閉のまま固着した場合、エンジンが停止するおそれがある。 （２）エンジンの排気圧センサにおいて、異常判定プログラムが不適切なため、センサ内部への水分の浸入により、センサの出力値がずれ、排出ガスが基準値を満足しなくなる場合に、異常判定しない。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、浸入した水分により排気圧センサ内の電子回路が腐食し、断線することでエンジン警告灯が点灯し、フェールセーフ制御によりアイドリングストップが作動しなくなり、変速ショックが大きくなるおそれがある。

What is to be done about it

（１）全車両、エンジン制御コンピュータを点検し、吸気シャッタ・バルブ用制御プログラムを対策プログラムに修正する。点検の結果、吸気シャッタ・バルブに異常がある場合は、吸気シャッタ・バルブを新品に交換する。また、プログラム修正後にエンジン警告灯が点灯した場合は、吸気シャッタ・バルブを新品に交換する。 （２）全車両、エンジン制御コンピュータを点検し、排気圧センサ用制御プログラムを対策プログラムに修正する。点検の結果、排気圧センサに異常がある場合は、排気圧センサを現行の新品に交換する。また、プログラム修正後にエンジン警告灯が点灯した場合は、排気圧センサを現行の新品に交換する。
