What the notice says イグニッションコイルのハイテンションコードにおいて、製造管理が不適切なため、異品を装着したものがある。そのため、走行時の屈曲の繰り返しにより亀裂が発生し、そのまま使用を続けると、断線してエンジンが停止し再始動できなくなるおそれがある。また、ハイテンションコードに亀裂が発生した状態で被水した場合、点火出力がリークして車速センサーやスロットルポジションセンサーが破損し、車速表示不良や、始動不良となるおそれがある。

What the ministry says is wrong

イグニッションコイルのハイテンションコードにおいて、製造管理が不適切なため、異品を装着したものがある。そのため、走行時の屈曲の繰り返しにより亀裂が発生し、そのまま使用を続けると、断線してエンジンが停止し再始動できなくなるおそれがある。また、ハイテンションコードに亀裂が発生した状態で被水した場合、点火出力がリークして車速センサーやスロットルポジションセンサーが破損し、車速表示不良や、始動不良となるおそれがある。

What is to be done about it

全車両、イグニッションコイルのハイテンションコードを点検し、異品が装着されていた場合には、イグニッションコイル（ハイテンションコード含む）を正規品と交換する。また、該当車の車速センサーが破損していた場合には新品と交換し、スロットルポジションセンサーが破損していた場合にはスロットルボディを新品と交換する。
