低圧燃料ポンプにおいて、燃料によるインペラ（樹脂製羽根車）の膨潤量の評価が不十分であったこと、及びインペラとポンプケースのクリアランスが不適切だったため、燃料の成分により膨潤したインペラがポンプケースと接触することがある。そのため、燃料ポンプが作動不良となり、最悪の場合、走行中にエンストに至るおそれがある。What is to be done about it
