施錠装置のエレクトリックコラムロックにおいて、内部のロックピン駆動機構の素材が不適切なため、高温多湿の環境下で使用を続けると、当該駆動機構部が変形することがある。そのため、駆動抵抗が増大し、最悪の場合、ハンドルロックが解除できず、エンジンが始動できないおそれがある。What is to be done about it
