What the ministry says is wrong
ブレーキ倍力装置に装着されているラバースリーブにおいて、設計が不適切なためブレーキ倍力装置のハウジングとの隙間に浸入した水分が長期間排出されず、ハウジングが腐食することがある。そのため、腐食が進むとハウジングに穴が開くことで装置の機能が低下し、必要なブレーキ踏力が増加したり、制動距離が延びたりする。更に腐食が進むとブレーキ倍力装置が破損することで、最悪の場合、ブレーキペダルでの制動が不能に至るおそれがある。What is to be done about it
全車両、ラバースリーブを取り外す。また、ブレーキ倍力装置のハウジングの腐食状態を点検し、腐食が基準を超えるものは全車両、装置の機能点検を行う。点検の結果、負圧漏れが生じて機能が低下している場合はブレーキ倍力装置を対策品に交換し、機能低下が生じていない場合は、部品の準備ができしだい、再度点検を実施した上で、腐食の状態に応じてブレーキ倍力装置を対策品に交換する。なお、ブレーキに違和感がある場合は、対策が実施されるまで運転しないよう使用者に要請する。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
