ベルト駆動スタータージェネレーター（以下ＢＳＧという）ベルトテンショナーにおいて、製造管理が不適切なため、内部構成部品であるダンパーパッドが組み込まれていないものがある。そのため、使用過程でベルトの張力維持動作を繰り返した際のがたつきによりテンショナー内部が破損し、ベルト張力が失われ、ハイブリッドシステム警告灯が点灯し、そのまま走行を続けると、ＢＳＧの作動が停止しバッテリーの充電が行われなくなり、最悪の場合、走行不能となるおそれがある。What is to be done about it
