Concern

Steering response may be incorrect

Defect, as DVSA words it

It has been identified that during the build process of the subject vehicles a safety critical action to check the torque of the front sub frame assembly bolts was omitted. Should the situation be ignored the driver would become aware of an unusual steering response.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Recalled vehicles will have the subject bolts inspected to ascertain whether they have been paint marked to indicate that the torque has been checked during production. Should this not be the case the bolts will be re-torqued.

What changed since we first read it

Nothing yet. The wording has been the same on every read since 4 September 2026. The file is read again every day; if DVSA rewrites the defect, remedy or concern, the old and new text will appear here with both dates.

The same recall in other registers

No match found in the American, Canadian or European registers by manufacturer reference. A recall can exist abroad under a different reference; this site only claims a match when the reference agrees.
