1974 MODEL CAPRI I AND 1976 CAPRI II PASSENGER CARS PRODUCED AT THE COLOGNE, GERMANY, ASSEMBLY PLANT FOR THE NORTH AMERICAN MARKET. FRONT BRAKE HOSES MAY DEVELOP LATERAL SPLITS IN THE OUTER COVER OF THE HOSE. THESE APLITS MAY EVENTUALLY RESULT IN BRAKE FLUID LEAKAGE AND LOSS OF FRONT SERVICE BRAKES. THE DRIVER WOULD BE ALERTED TO THE CONDITION BY THE BRAKE WARNING LIGHT AND REAR BRAKES WOULD REMAIN FUNCTIONAL THROUGH THE DUAL BRAKING SYSTEM.
