1973 - 74 - AND 75 INTERNATIONAL MS1210 MULTI STOP CHASSIS. THE STRENGTH OF THE MATERIAL AT THE END OF THE PITMAN ARM WHICH MOUINTS TO THE STEERING GEAR MAY BE INSUFFICIENT TO WITHSTAND FREQUENT HIGH STEERING LOAD APPLICATIONS. SHOULD THE MATERIAL LIMITS OF THE PITMAN ARM BE EXCEEDED, CRACKS MAY DEVELOP AND PROPOGATE, THE INTEGRITY OF THE JOINT MATING THE PITMAN ARM TO THE STEERING GEAR COULD EVENTUALLY BE LOST, THUS CAUSING LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL.
