THE FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS COULD FAIL DUE TO INSUFFICIENT LUBRICATION. THIS COULD REDUCE SMOOTH ROTATION OF THE BEARINGS ON THE AXLE AND RESULT IN REDUCED VEHICLE CONTROL. rnCORRECTION: ALL UNITS WHICH HAVE NOT BEEN OPERATED MUST HAVE THE BEARINGS PROPERLY LUBRICATED, THE RIGHT HAND OIL SEAL REPLACED AND AN IMPROVED AXLE COLLAR INSTALLED. UNITS WHICH HAVE BEEN IN OPERATION MUST HAVE THE BEARINGS REPLACED, BE PROPERLY LUBRICATED AND FITTED WITH NEW OIL SEALS AND AN IMPROVED AXLE COLLAR.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 1987013.
