THE PINCH NUTS AND BOLTS USED TO ATTACH THE STEERING KNUCKLES TO THE SUSPENSION ARMS MAY NOT BE PROPERLY TORQUED. INSUFFICIENT CLAMPING FORCE ON THE SUSPENSION ARMS CAN ADVERSELY AFFECT HANDLING AND COULD LEAD TO WHEEL SEPARATION. CORRECTION: A NEW HIGHER STRENGTH NUT/BOLT/WASHER COMBINATION WILL BE INSTALLED USING A LUBRICANT TO ENSURE THAT THE INDICATED TORQUE READING RESULTS IN A PROPER CLAMPING FORCE.
Transport Canada recorded this notice in capitals, as its system did for many years. It is reproduced here exactly as published.
