On certain school buses equipped with an optional relocated fuel filter (located on the driver's control module), the fuel lines may contact the transmission cover, suffer chafe damage, and develop a fuel leak. Diesel fuel spilt on the roadway could endanger other road users by making the roadway unexpectedly slippery. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, as necessary, reposition or replace the fuel lines.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2011169.
