Certain infant car seats may not comply with the Motor Vehicle Restraint Systems and Booster Seats Safety Regulations and Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 213.1 - Infant Restraint Systems. The instruction manual and the labels affixed to the car seat contain various minor translation errors and omissions. Correction: A production change has been undertaken to remedy these technical non-compliance conditions. No corrective recall action is required as the technical non-compliance conditions are deemed to be non-safety related.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2012383.
