Issue: rnOn certain child car seats, the National Safety Mark (NSM) product label may contain minor errors. Specifically, the label lists Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (CMVSS) 2013.1, and 2013.2, when it should instead list 213.1 and 213.2. Canadian regulations require that the NSM label shows the number(s) of the CMVSS that the child seat or booster seat conforms to. rnrnSafety Risk: rnThese small errors do not affect safety. rnrnCorrective Action: rnThis is not a recall. Owners can continue to use their seat. Peg Perego has made changes to correct all future labels to list CMVSS 213.1 and 213.2.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2024764.
