Issue: rnOn certain motorcycles, a manufacturing defect could cause the fuel tank to leak. rn rnSafety Risk: rnLeaking fuel, in the presence of an ignition source, creates the risk of a fire. rn rnCorrective Actions: rnThe company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their motorcycle to a dealer to have the fuel tank inspected. If a fuel leak is found, the tank will be replaced. If no leak is present, the fuel tank cover mounting insert will be replaced with a corrected part.
