Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the clamps that connect the fuel hose to the solid fuel line may not have been properly installed. As a result, the connection may loosen over time and could leak fuel. If the hose detaches completely, fuel will spill and the engine may stall. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnMercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the fuel hose and its clamp connections. The dealer will tighten or replace the components, if required.
