Mercedes-Benz SPRINTER in the other registers
This site holds seven national and European registers. Mercedes-Benz SPRINTER is named on 85 American notices, 86 British and 80 European. Those are separate campaigns, filed with separate authorities on their own schedules.
The American register
The British register
The European register
Nothing here says any of these is this notice in another country. A model recalled in one country is often recalled in another, in different words and at a different time, and the authorities do not cross-reference each other. Reading them together is the reason this site holds more than one register.

Issue:
On certain vehicles, the front and rear brake hoses may have been damaged during production. Over time, this could cause the hoses to leak brake fluid. If this happens, brake performance could be reduced and there could be a loss of stability when braking.
Note: This problem could cause the brake pedal to 'feel soft' or cause the low brake fluid light to turn on. If you experience either of these symptoms, you should park your vehicle and contact your local Mercedes-Benz dealer.Safety Risk:
Reduced brake performance can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash.Corrective Actions:
Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the brake hoses on the rear and front axles. They will be replaced, if necessary.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2020491.

Reading this against the source
This page is what Transport Canada published in the Vehicle Recalls Database, kept as it was read. The authority publishes only its current wording; if a notice is rewritten, the earlier version disappears there and is kept here. The whole register is at /canada, and how the reading is done is set out in the method.
What the words on this notice mean — the system it is filed under, and what the filing type says about who found the fault.
This register keeps an index of its own for every maker and every year it holds: Canadian recalls on a Mercedes-Benz: 477 in the register, and 536 Canadian vehicle recalls filed in 2020.
