Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the rear wheel axle nut and cotter pin may not have been correctly installed. As a result, the rear wheel axle nut could loosen and cause the wheel to separate from the vehicle. rn rnSafety Risk: rnA wheel separation could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.rn rnCorrective Actions: rnThe company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to tighten the rear wheel axle nut and replace the cotter pin.
