Issue: rnThis recall is for certain side-by-side vehicles equipped with an HD10 engine (82 hp) and a track conversion kit (BRP or aftermarket). rnrnWhen the vehicle is equipped with a track kit and used in heavy snow, the air intake for the transmission may get completely covered with snow. If this happens, the drive belt could overheat, break into pieces and catch fire. rnNote: This situation will not occur if a Can-Am CVT air intake relocation kit was installed. rnrnSafety Risk: rnAn overheated drive belt that breaks could catch fire. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnBRP will notify owners by mail. If you use your vehicle with a track conversion kit in the snow, BRP will instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to install a CVT air intake relocation kit.
