Issue: rnOn certain ATVs, the front lower ball joint may not have been installed correctly in the steering knuckle. As a result, the front lower ball joint could separate from the steering knuckle and cause a loss of vehicle control. rn rnSafety Risk: rnA loss of vehicle control could increase the risk of a crash. rn rnCorrective Actions: rnCan-Am will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your ATV to a dealer to inspect and reassemble the front lower ball joint to steering knuckle connections. rnNote: Can-Am recommends that you should stop using your ATV until this repair has been completed. If your ATV needs to be moved, do not exceed 15 km/h and only operate it on smooth surfaces.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2021254.
