This recall was replaced by Transport Canada Recall No. 2021-782. rnrnIssue: rnOn certain side-by-side UTV's, the accelerator pedal may not return when it is released. This could cause the throttle to stick open. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA throttle that sticks in the open position could cause a loss of control and create the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnThe company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your UTV to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, replace the accelerator pedal. To reduce the safety risk, the company recommends that you should avoid driving your UTV until the recall repairs have been completed.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2021008.
